Nicholas Komoroski, General Counsel
Nick Komoroski graduated from Fontbonne College in 2000 and from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2003. Nick began his legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Glenn Norton in the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District. He then spent approximately ten years in private practice in St. Charles, Missouri, where his practice focused primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and worker’s compensation defense.
Nick was selected as a “Rising Star” in the area of General Litigation in the 2012 and 2013 editions of Super Lawyers Magazine. During his time in private practice, Nick obtained substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation in State and Federal Courts. Nick then worked for the Attorney General’s Office in the Litigation Division for approximately two years, defending State agencies and workers against allegations of wrongful death, excessive force, and civil rights violations. Nick most recently worked as an assistant prosecutor for Boone County for over eight years. He has experience in prosecuting serious high-profile cases and has conducted jury trials in cases involving first and second-degree murder, assault, rape, crimes against children, and driving while intoxicated.
During his time with the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office, he worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney, first assistant prosecutor, and acted as the interim prosecuting attorney from June 2022 to August 2022. Nick has a passion for seeking justice for victims, especially children, and enjoys mentoring and training prosecutors to help them perform to their highest potential.
