Kayla Womble
Kayla Womble - Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor
Kayla started working for the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services in November 2022 as the Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor. She graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law with her J.D. and a concentration in Criminal Law in 2018. During her time in law school, Kayla interned for two years in the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on the Sex Crimes Team while simultaneously working as a paralegal for Goldstein and Price, L.C. Upon graduation, she went to work at the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. She moved on to more specialized work at the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s Office on the Special Victims Unit, where she worked for three years prior to coming to MOPS. Kayla has had a passion for the prosecution of offenses against children ever since she saw her first episode of Law & Order: SVU at nine years old. She is excited to use this job to further her reach in helping child victims across the State of Missouri.
